This daily ritual of mine has helped me stay up to date on the latest news, the juiciest gossip and everything in between. Two best friends, Danielle Weisberg and Carly Zakin, created theSkimm in 2012 which delivers one email everymonring at 6 AM. The Skimm aims to give subscribers everything they need to know about the latest news in politics, sports, entertainment and more in clever and creative ways. The eye catching titles (see left), clear/concise news, and conversational delivery has been a MASSIVE hit nationwide! In August, theSkimm reported reaching 1.5 million subscribers. Some may classify this news outlet as "female-centered", but I encourage everyone I know to use this easy and convenient way to stay up to date!
